Authentic pair of vintage French adjustable “tabourets à vis”, the classic screw stools once found in workshops, artist studios, and small rural ateliers throughout France, 1930's-1950's. Crafted in solid European beech, adjustable height, sculptural tripod bases, and beautifully aged workshop patina. A timeless example of mid-century atelier furniture inspired by Baumann and Thonet studio designs.

The defining feature is the single hand-turned wooden screw column, which adjusts the seat height smoothly. The sculptural tripod base, double-disc support, and honest joinery make these stools a beautifully functional.
